Takeru Kobayashi holds the world record for hot dog eating with six consecutive wins of the Nathan’s Famous hot dog-eating competition. This is an anime from Japan TV Funhouse which casts Kobayashi with Dragon Ball Z and Japanese TV. He saves the children from a burning building made of hotdogs and uses his Solomon Method (dunking hotdogs in water).
A 2000 Nescafe commercial starring Mariah Carey and Sanma Akashiya who is a Japanese TV comedian and actor. Apparently both are in a number of games where they pit against each other and Sanma Akashiya loses miserably to Mariah.
Morning Musume members join in an English lesson with an English teacher. Most of them doesn’t seem to have a good handle of English and its very entertaining to watch when the teacher ask them translate their experience from Japanese to English. Fujimoto Miki is very kawaii ne!!
A 5 series clip where David Beckham and Utada Hikaru appear as the special guests in this food game tv show. Favourite dishes as well as one disliked dish are prepared for both celebrities. Both had to find out what the other one dislike. Beckham doesn’t seem to show much enthusiasm but I don’t blame him since he is the foreign one among them. Utada on the hand is nervous and looks much cuter than ever.

Dakota Fanning was promoting her movie ‘War of The World’ in Japan when she was interviewed by Hidenori Tsuruta, a 17 year old school boy whom the TV show allowed because he is one of Dakota’s fan club member. He was really nervous and looked as if he was having a heart attack while presenting the questions. Dakota sure is a smart and matured kid for a 13 year old and was polite and nice during the show.
