Utada Hikaru - Hikari

Utada Hikaru also known as Hikki is one of the most popular Japanese Jpop singers and is an unpredecented icon in Japan after her debut, First Love. Hikari is one of the songs which was featured in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts and also one of the songs in the album “Deep River”. The song is great but the mv is a bit monotonous.

Mai Kuraki - Dancing

Dancing is a Mai Kuraki’s single released on 23 March 2005. This mv was shot on Hewitt Street in Los Angeles, CA(USA). Maichan is one of Japan’s biggest pop act and at the same time the single was released, she graduated from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto.

Underground Drift Racing

Featured on Discovery Channel, this is footage of illegal drift racing in Japan. Dangerous and tight, it reminds me of Initial D the manga by Shuichi Shigeno. Little or no street racing takes place in major Japanese cities. The majority of racing is undertaken on licensed tracks or on mountain passes.
